As every year, almost all LERG Group companies put up their teams for the race.
This year's edition turned out to be special for DAFO Plastic, for three reasons. For one, the company joined the Poland Business Run for the first time. Then, three teams started on the spot, and one virtually. Third, one of the runners in the teams made an outstanding result of 14 minutes and 22 seconds, winning himself the 1st place among all representatives of the LERG Group in the on-the-location races. This is an impressive achievement that confirms that sporting passion, determination and excellent physical form can lead to truly great results.
The Krakow routes saw MARPOL representatives starting with two teams fielded, along with Sarzyna Chemical with one team and LERG also represented by one team. IZO-ERG put up two teams in the on-the-location format, each starting on a different date, that is, on Saturday and Sunday. The HANEX and PERMEDIA squads joined, putting up four teams in the virtual format.
Five more teams were registered by LERG for the virtual option.
For years now, Poland Business Run has demonstrated that running can be something more than just a sporting challenge. This is an opportunity to meet, integrate and support those in need. Every kilometre covered counts – both on the Krakow route and the one run anywhere else as part of the virtual competition.
We so satisfied that this year, too, the employees of our companies showed in this big number that together we can do more! Our big thanks go to all the participants for their sports energy, commitment, good representation of their companies and – above all – their willingness to help. This year's PBR fundraiser was intended to support those with mobility disabilities and women after mastectomy.
An integration dinner organized for the participants of the Krakow route run from the LERG Group was also a nice touch. It was great meeting you all – thank you!
