I WE'RE PLAYING WITH GOCC - LERG Group!
The 34th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC) played on Sunday, 25 January 2026. This year's fundraising campaign was held under the motto "For the Healthy Tummies of Our Children" to support the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in the youngest patients.
Enormous gratitude is the feeling we have got every time we think about the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and their activities to date, as every zloty collected means a human life or health saved. This year, 1,681 collection centres were set up in 88 countries, each operated by a dozen plus volunteers actively reaching out to raise funds with one goal in mind – to spread goodness and secure donations for the purchase of specialized medical equipment. The Grand Finale itself was held on the grounds of the PGE National Stadium and featured numerous attractions, including performances by musical bands such as Landberry, Lemon, Igo, Ich troje, and Myslovitz.
A standing part of the GOCC-branded initiatives is the "Get even with Diabetes" run, which for years has combined a passion for running with a charitable purpose.
The LERG Group joined the 34th Finale in Dębica, playing actively with the Kwiatek Team that has been organized for years now by the youth from Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski School Complex No. 2 in Dębica, led by the irreplaceable Head of Centre Małgorzata Burdza.
Just like last year, we provided the Team with T-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as several other equally important gadgets. We were also a bidder in the auction for a gigantic, beautifully decorated cake made by Wiktor's Confectionery of Dębica. As it turned out, there were more sweet lovers, so the bidding was fierce. We won with the highest bid of PLN 5,000, and then shared the cake with the audience. On Sunday, upon the closure of the Finale, the Kwiatek Team had collected more than PLN 126,000, but as the Head emphasized, "that without the boxes, and those are the heaviest" – bravo!
